Our Story
We started our journey in 2021 selling second-hand furniture online from home. What began as a small side hustle quickly turned into something far bigger than we ever expected.
Within months, our backyard shed was transformed into a makeshift showroom. Furniture filled every corner. Weekends were spent meeting customers, loading trailers, and reinvesting every dollar back into more stock. It was busy, exhausting — and exciting.
Before long, we outgrew the shed.
We leased a commercial building in Millicent, originally planning to store overflow stock. But it didn’t take long to realise we weren’t just storing furniture anymore — we were building a retail business. The space quickly became a full showroom, and growth accelerated again.
Soon, demand outpaced supply. There simply wasn’t enough second-hand furniture available to keep up. Rather than slow down, we made the leap into brand new furniture — expanding our range and evolving the business into what it is today.
Now operating major showrooms in South Australia, TK’s Furniture continues to grow rapidly — driven by hard work, smart buying, and a relentless focus on value and service.
